 | Principal Jeff Bengtson Mr. Jeff Bengtson is beginning his ninth year as Principal at Canfield Middle School. Upon completion of a teaching degree in 1992, Mr. Bengtson taught high school math in Chewelah, Washington and spent three years as the Assistant Principal at Coeur d'Alene High School before moving to Canfield. A 1988 Lakeland High School Graduate, Mr. Bengtson is a North Idaho native and has lived here most of his life. After graduating from Lakeland, Mr. Bengtson attended Gonzaga University and then moved on to the University of Idaho and received his Bachelor of Science in Education in 1992. Deciding to pursue additional education, Mr. Bengtson graduated from Whitworh College in 1998 with a Master's in Educational Leadership. Mr. Bengtson is married and has one daughter who is in the second grade at Hayden Meadows Elementary. | Mr. Nick Lilyquist is in his second year as Assistant Principal at Canfield Middle School. Mr. Lilyquist came to CMS after eight years as a seventh grade math instructor at Woodland Middle School and one year as Assistant Principal at Ramsey Elementary. This year marks his 10th year in education. Mr. Lilyquist is married to a teacher in the Coeur d'Alene School District and has a three year old daughter. Nick and his family are North Idaho Natives.
